The generation wall shows before any AI call: you are never charged for a generation that didn't happen. You can buy credits (pay-as-you-go) or upgrade your plan. Credits are consumed after your monthly quota, in expiry order (FIFO).

No, never. The quota is only deducted when you get a valid preview, that is, when the AI produced a playable quest you can approve. If generation or deployment fails, nothing is deducted.

Yes. 2 free regenerations per quest (you only pay once). After the 2nd, a confirmation dialog asks before spending another credit.

Nothing. Already-deployed quests stay on your server: they are standard PikaMug quests and have no dependency on QuestFable being active. We never hold your content hostage.

Yes. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT where applicable (Stripe Tax). The exact amount depends on your country and is shown before checkout confirmation.

QuestFable uses Stripe (the same payment processor as Shopify, Notion, and Figma). Your card details never touch our servers. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal.

The deploy job times out after 60 seconds and retries once. If it fails definitively, your credit is automatically refunded and the quest stays as a saveable draft. You see exactly what happened.

Yes. Upgrades are immediate and prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing period: no hostility, no surprise charges.

Yes. Free means 5 quests every month, forever. It is not a time-limited trial. If you stop paying, you drop back to Free: your quests stay deployed, you just can't generate new ones until your quota resets on the 1st of the month (UTC).
