Link Code Issues
Trouble linking your server to your QuestFable account? Most issues are caused by an expired code or a previous link.
Issue: Code expired
Pairing codes are valid for 15 minutes from the time you run /qf link.
Fix: Run /qf link again to get a fresh code and open the new URL immediately.
Issue: Code already used
Each code is single-use. If you open the link twice or someone else opened it first, you will see a “code consumed” error.
Fix: Run /qf link again.
Issue: Server already linked to another account
Each server can only be linked to one QuestFable account at a time. If the server was previously linked (even to your own account from a different login, or to a staff member's account), you must unlink it first. This anti-hijack protection prevents unauthorised account takeovers.
Fix: Unlink from the account that currently holds it, then re-pair:
- In-game (if you own the current link):
/qf unlink(requiresquestfable.admin) - Web panel: Settings → Servers → click Unlink
› /qf unlinkIf you no longer have access to the account that holds the link, ask the original owner to unlink it, or contact support on Discord. After unlinking, run /qf link again to re-pair.
Issue: Plan limit (too many servers)
Your plan limits the number of linked servers (Free/Starter: 1, Pro: 3, Studio: unlimited).
Fix: Unlink an existing server from Settings → Servers, or upgrade your plan.
Issue: Too many active link codes
Each server fingerprint can have a maximum of 3 active codes at a time. Wait for old codes to expire (15 minutes) or restart the server to clear them.
Rotate your server token
If you suspect your server token has been compromised, rotate it from Settings → Servers → Rotate token. The Bridge receives the new token automatically on the next /qf link: you do not need to re-pair manually.
